BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The first annual Beer Pong Tournament at VFW Post 1078 was a success, attracting participants and spectators to the patio.
The event, organized by the “In A Soldier’s Shoes” Foundation, aimed to support its mission of providing footwear for veterans and their families.
Volunteer emcee Jami Barlow energized the crowd, urging participants to play with the same spirit as veterans.
Veterans competed for free, while teams paid $50 to enter, competing for a WWE-styled Championship Belt.
Scott Kingsbury and Joe Rowland won the Championship Belt, with Paige Kissling and Eric Bays as runners-up.
With the tournament concluded, the foundation is planning its next fundraiser, “A Mile In A Soldier’s Shoes,” a ruck march event to further support veterans.
The foundation thanks all participants and supporters and encourages everyone to stay tuned for future events.
